We’ve been playing a little today with one of our most unused dies — the one that cuts out envelope liners. We’ve had a couple of customers in the past two weeks request lined envelopes on some of our in-house wedding invitations and save the dates. While we’ve been able to do it, we haven’t really ever promoted them through our website. So, today we took a little time to create some eye-candy for you and I just wanted to share with you all some of the adorable-ness that we’ve made!
So, this is how we do it — we print a pattern onto letter sizes sheet of paper (it can be in any color, we just did these in all black). Then, we die cut the paper so that it’s almost rectangular , but with a little bit of a tapered edge on the flap side. The liners are then inserted into the envelope and glued down with our two-sided adhesive and VOILA! It adds SO MUCH to the look of basic party invitations!
Another option is to print a photo of you and your fiance on the liner — for our envelopes a horizontal picture (panoramic style) would work best.
